Great hidden gem / dive bar. Right off the beach with extremely affordable prices! I recommend the fried fish tacos. They are the reason I come back again and again. I love this place, and simply thinking about it, makes me want to go back right now. Big Deans, you're the real hero.

The wings are good, probably best on the beach as advertised. They remind me of claim jumper wings. Solid beer selection too

Great place if you want to go watch any sports plenty of TVs great selection of beers. The food could be better but can't expect much this is a beachfront type of grill. Definitely a dive but it was great watching the soccer matches. The burger was okay but not amazing. Our server Todd was fantastic and attentive even though the place was really packed. Definitely worth the visit. Good dive bar.

Greta little restaurant and Bar. Wanted to enjoy the Pier and surrounding restaurants without the crowds of the pier. Very Very happy with the food, tasty burgers and Philly. Busy but spacious attentive waiters and waitresses and great service. Highly recommend this place.

Service was wonderful. Food was served fresh and hot but lacked a little flavor. But seemed like everyone in this area serves the same style of food. Cold beer was a plus.

I had the tuna melt sandwich. It was reasonably priced and delicious. The beers were a little expensive but not too bad. They checked everyone's temperature before going in. Tables provided social distancing, and the restrooms were clean. The service was very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place is very unassuming. It’s a bit harder to find as most of the flow pushes you towards the pier whereas this is behind it. It was clean, we were greeted quickly and sat ourselves. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the pier then this place is great! The service was good and the seating was plentiful. The food was good. Overall this place is good not great.

Big Dean's reopened following covid precautions. The tables are spaced out, staff are wearing face masks, there is a line to get in. But once you're in and have your table it's the same old Dean's. Cheap big beers and cheap good food. But now with more patio space and less crowded!

Delicious and great ambiance. Typical down to earth sports bar but with excellent no fuzz food. Highly recommend the shrimp scallop skewers and ahi tacos.

The first time in my life hitting the West Coast and came across this place within an hour of arriving. #so blessed Totally laid back great vibe ocean front bar and grill. The prices were more than fair. The food and drinks were great and the staff just totally chill. Check tgis place out if you have a chance.

Came to visit here with my mom from Tulsa, Ok. The food is subpar at best. The customer service we got is terrible. The waiter took forever to acknowledge us. When he finally took our order, he wouldn’t say a word to us. He wasn’t friendly at all. He finally brought us our food and my order was incorrect. My mother completely finished her food before I ever got mine. They never asked if we need refills... David is the only nice one here

Our first time here. We ordered 2 grill fish sandwiches and all of the grill fish taco’s. Super Yummy!!

Newly expanded with renovations, can't beat Big Dean's for sports, group gatherings, concerts on the pier or anytime you need a cold refresher on the bike path. Literally the best bar food on the bike path. A staple, a must, cant be beat, can't say enough. Cheers!

BIG DEANS!!! They have beer for fair prices, food that normal people can afford and all the sports you can watch. There's a big backyard patio that's nice and great people watching from the front of the restaurant. Get your money's worth and order the 32 oz beers!
